Autodesk Backburner is a background rendering network system that allows animation scenes to be rendered by many computers. The Arnold standalone (the Arnold SDK download from, or the Arnold 2018 download from your Autodesk Account) is not what you use to render Maya scenes or 3ds Max scenes.
